Department of Chemistry, along with other science faculties of Sonari College, organised an outreach program in association with IQAC and Institutional Incubation Cell, Sonari College, and PM Shri Mahmora High School on the occasion of National Science Day, 2025 at PM Shri Mahmora High School on 28 February, 2025. The program included lectures on the importance and theme of National Science Day, 2025 as well as science experiment exhibitions performed by teachers and students of the college.
Department of Chemistry bid Mr. Amrit Kumar Borpuzari and Mr. Mintoo Gogoi farewell at the end of their formal professional careers. We wish them all the very best.

The Department of Chemistry has organized an online interactive session for the students with Mr. Subhajit Hazarika, chemist, Geological Survey of India, on the topic "Career in Geological Survey of India" on 31st of August, 2024 in association with the Department of Physics.
