ADMISSION PROCEDURE
Admission into various programmes in Sonari College is done through online mode. The authority provides an Admission Notification which is uploaded in the College website. Candidates seeking admission have to submit the Admission Form along with all requisite documents by using the Admission Portal of the College. Admission is generally made on merit basis. However, provision of reservation is made as per Reservation Guidelines of Govt. of Assam and Directorate of Higher Education. After submission of Admission Forms, Merit List / selected list is prepared and students are allowed to take admission accordingly.
There will be no change in Subjects after getting Registration.
Admission Board : All matters relating to admission will be taken up by the Admission Board. The Board consists of the Principal as Chairperson, Vice-Principal as Vice-Chairperson and the Heads of Departments as members. The Board will also be expanded to include the Heads of the Institutions of Colleges included in the Cluster System with Sonari College.
Scrutiny Board : There will be a Scrutiny Board Consisting of members of teaching faculty who will verify the documents for considering the Admission.
Process of Admission : The list of eligible candidates for Admission will be notified on Merit Basis. However, statutory reservation policy of the Government shall be followed.
