 DEPARTMENTAL FIELD TRIP TO THENGAL CULTURAL CENTRE AND MUSEUM, TITABOR, ASSAM DATED 19 NOVEMBER, 2024 AS PART OF EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING UNDER FYUGP:

STUDENTS OF DEPARTMENT OF ENGLISH PARTICIPATED IN ALL THE COMPETITIONS INCLUDING INDOOR AND OUTDOOR GAMES, LITERARY COMPETITIONS, SPEECH AND EXTEMPORE SPEECH, QUIZ COMPETITION, MUSIC COMPETITIONS, DANCE COMPETITIONS, TRADITIONAL DRESS COMPETITION. MONO ACTING, MIME, ONE ACT PLAY , CULTURAL RALLY, WALL MAGAZINE ETC. HELD DURING COLLEGE WEEK FROM 4TH FEBRUARY TO 11 FEBRUARY, 2025 .  STUDENTS OF THE DEPARTMENT WON MANY PRIZES AND BECAME THE 2ND BEST DEPARTMENT IN 54TH COLLEGE WEEK.

DEPARTMENTAL WALL MAGAZINE 'PEARL' WAS INAUGURATED ON 10TH FEBRUARY, 2025. THE THEME OF THE WALL MAGAZINE IS "GREEK MYTHOLOGY". THE WALL MAGAZINE WAS  INAUGURATED BY DR. BIMAL CHANDRA GOGOI, PRINCIPAL, SONARI COLLEGE AND SRI DILIP RANJAN BORUAH, EX-VICE PRINCIPAL, SONARI COLLEGE.
